It is exciting ! and just starting a blog ! what an adventure ! I am expecting to meet all of you there who want to know more.....about early retirement.....the way I am retiring....and what are really my expectations....

It is hot...but isn't the best time to really find deals???
This is the "season" and we are seeing a lot of activity but not much "closings" .
Mainly the Canadians are here making it look like it is "happening" The Canadians for the first time in a long period feel their money can "buy" them something in the US..
But..but...they also read the news and listen to all the media..saying things are bad and are not getting any better!!!
Well I do not agree...the media are really hurting the market...and creating a very unsecure environmnent. Yes things are not pretty but still not as bad as they say..especially in our market.
Our potential buyers are the baby boomers buying retirement or second homes, they have the means and can afford ...they just do not want to regret 6 months from now that they bought too high!!
Well the sellers are also in the same position they say ...the market will pick up in a year or so..well I will try this season ...if I cannot get my price I will take it off the market and put it back on again next year.
It is a tango and it takes two to dance it!!
Yes there are deals out there with properties that were bought by "flippers" or first time buyers that had no business buying anyhow and were pushed into that position by the banks ...but generally those are the properties "our" buyers are interested in (country Clubs properties and such).
I would say ..if you can afford it and if you see a property you really like...go for it....and enjoy...Life is about enjoying what you can do today...
I guess this is how I feel...right now...DEAR MEDIA's leave us alone and bring our moral up...report on happy endings.....
